Hi Dan,
The worry about having your number on your keys is that it isn't a major step to get your identity and possibly your address - there are lots of reverse look up services out there. If someone has your keys and your address that isn't a great place to be in.
We find that good people are time poor and need a very simple fast way to report a find.
Our tags give you complete anonymity as well as making it simple for the finder to return them.

Cool idea, but the really neat thing about You Get It Back is that the phone number is a Free Fone with a 24 x 7 call center set up 100% to get stuff back. Hmm my keys and most of my expensive things have a Dymo label on it somewhere that says "Reward if found - [phonenumber]" and that didn't cost me a penny (well, someone bought the Dymo tape but it wasn't me!)

It's a good idea, I just don't think it needs a company to do it.
