Where to buy a 1st Gen iPhone?

I want to buy a 1st Gen iPhone. New. Any suggestions on where to get one from? eBay is stuffed full of folk hawking the 3G version!

Ahh, I don't know.
You could get a second hand one from a CEX shop (Computer Exchange), they always have them in my local one.

You could phone up Carphone or O2 to see if they have any of them still in stock?

Sure! Carphone is Carphone Warehouse -- a leading mobile retailer. o2 is
the UK network operator that has the iPhone contract.
