Calling all Nokia & Symbian geniuses: Am I wrong?
An application needs a real purpose. Optimising the website further should definately be first point of call, but maybe elements of social media/integration with other things would make an application work. Very loose thoughts here, as I distract myself from work further...
- LBS to find events/mobile companies etc.
- sponsoring links to the App Store
- 'shake' feedback......invite readers to shake phone up and down if they rate a story highly, or left to right if they don't.

Just wipe his face to move to the next story or pinch his nose to pause the audio..
So I'd start the iPhone app, pick a post from a simple list, click a button, record my monologue, click another button to upload the video as a comment to the post.
- Build a social community?
Have a feature on such app to sync profiles of the registered folks with your contact list on the phone. Or maybe have them presented as IM buddies and allow sending them private messages or reading their recent comments or something like that.
