    "DONT BRING ANYTHING TO THE MALDIVES EXCEPT YOUR SWIMSUIT AND BUCKETLOADS OF CASH"

    ......and the problem with this for the Maldives Tourist Board would be.....?

    {Cut to MTB team meeting}

    So, this blog fellow, er...MacLooney...yeah, the one who's on holiday with half the UK's IT infrastructure in his trunks...what to do?

    How about we hold onto this nice box [places coffee cup on said box] - I mean, otherwise where would we put our drinks?

    But he's threatening to run a campaign, exposing us as a nation so laid back that we all are on the beach or in Belgium by 4pm!

    Sounds great! how many readers does he have? That should bump our Google Analytics count then. Bonus time!

    {fade to sound of waves, wind in Palm fronds and a Ukulele....}

    I wonder if 'in Belgium' is just a local euphemism?

    "I had ten pints and a vindaloo last night and spent the entire morning in Belgium. I'd give it a few minutes if I were you..."

    Quote of the day...

    "...after 4pm, everyone is asleep. Or in Belgium."

    Brilliant. It's lines like that, that remind why I keep coming back to this site.

    I'm surprised you really don't seem to know that the Maldives government offices working hours vary from UK. they DO NOT work untill 5.pm in Male' . the working hours are between 7.30 am and 2.30pm.. try calling during those hours.. and try not to be so ignorant next time round..

    Well that put me in my place!
