Mobile Industry Review: The best mobile city guides?

  • David Pearce · 1 year ago
In the UK, try Yell.com mobile (get at www.yellmobile.com or text mobile to 80248).

I've a vested interest, but try it and let me know what you think.

The new version of Google Maps seems pretty feature rich. They've integrated reviews into the client, so you can see if a restaurant is any good.

Not as handy as a proper guide - but good enough for a few days in a city.

If it's London you want - check out the London Travel Guide - http://www.londontravelguide.com/

    Try http://www.mycitymate.com.

I'm yet another with a "vested interest" but i think the guide holds its own, and feedback is always welcome! ;-)

If you've got an older S60 phone and don't mind things being a little out of date, I loved TomTom City Maps. Good luck tracking it down (legally or otherwise).
