Unfortunately, there's the awkward fact that their nice free offering is a shared long number, with usernames prefixing messages to make sure it gets to the right place. i.e. they'd have to text 07786202820, then prefix every message with "shockradio" or whatever. However... it's pretty good for the price! It can forward texts to e-mail or a web server too.
