I've listened to the podcast, very interesting. I'm on Flirtomatic and 'The Sun' is very much what it's like. Don't get me wrong, I like the service but wish it were a bit more upmarket (or they offered a more upmarket alternative). The WAP site isn't too bad but the website... ergh I'm subjected to really scary looking blokes with their shirts off whenever I log in. Why?!?
The WAP login doesn't work all that well either. I have to click the 'new users' or 'join' link to get logged in without having to re-enter my deets. If I do things the right way I have to log in each time and if I haven't refreshed a page for a minute or two it takes me back out to the sign-in page.
Oh and a girl bought me a pint and Strongbow's WAP site had 'issues' (she had the same problem when I "bought" my round!)
If Mark is reading this, you are doing a top job - I just like to er, constructively criticise! ;-)

The scary blokes issue on web is interesting too: it's down to the fact that the interface is v different on web and wap for the "Look At Me" feature. We can show the whole thing in one go on web, but on wap split it into channels by sex. Your comment makes me think we may wish to do the same thing on web.........

Mark, when I'd nearly lost my faith in "mobile" (I've been venting for days!) you post the above and begin to restore it. :D
What are your thoughts to a spin-off of Flirtomatic? I ask as it's clear that many straight women use it to talk to other straight women (either strangers they've met on there or people they know in real life). I'm guessing it's because it's cheaper than texting and a better experience. Unlike women, straight blokes are reluctant to follow suit so how about a Chatomatic?
