It's so great everywhere else, and 8mp camera and xenon flash would make it just perfect. Let's start a petition, get all the big blogs on board, and get a list of "sigs" to nokia! They'll listen for sure. Can't be TOO big of a hardware change, swapping the camera sensor, adjusting software to work with it!

If you vote 8mp camera and xenon, say I...

I!

Re: NokiaWorldWatch: The new Nokia, the N97 – the full skinny, the complete low down, the full enchilada - everything you needed to know but were too afraid to ask.

The screen is gorgeous, stunning desktop. But the interface seems laggy and not as responsive as I expected, 6mos must lead to much improvements. Hopefully, months of waiting for the release of this flagship device will not be much of a disappointment, as most users complained about the N96.

Btw, is that 15.9mm thickness is when the device in its closed state, i mean, the qwerty keypad hidden?

I am very looking forward on the next device after N97. Less the keypad and the massive onboard memory, for a slicker and cheaper version maybe? And xenon on it, that would be a perfect replacement for my N82. Here's hoping, since Nokia always do that - releasing other models having advantages and disadvantages from other existing models.

N97 - with qwerty and massive memory but no xenon
N8x - without qwerty nor massive memory but with Xenon and better dimensions.
