Ben did record some brief facts about Lincoln's Inn Fields but I guess it hit the cutting room floor :(
2008/9/29 Disqus <>
OK - this week's facts... we were in Lincoln's Inn Fields in the last segment - the largest open square in the UK (apparently) and modeled on central park in New York, although it's been there since the 1700s. It's named after the adjacent 'Lincolns Inn' one of the 4 Inns in London where barristers are called to the Bar and is often confused with the slightly more attractive (IMO), but private, gardens there.
B.
Also,a few years ago, it was home to a large 'cardboard city' of homeless and was largely a no-go area at night.
Not many people know that ;-)
i still are not convinced by the innov8 it just does'nt seem to offer anything more than an 8mp camera.
I'm just curious will you guy's bbe at the unveiling of the nokia 5800/tube ? that will be fun seeing what it as to offer
I don't think the 5800 release is official yet, but we'll be on the case for invites as/when. I stand by my comments the other day though that Nokia see this just as a music (smart-ish) phone so it'll be pretty disappointing when lined up against the G1s and iPhones....
i think we need to wait and see before we totally rule it out
The question goes out to the others as well if they have played with both the phones!
Jsut felt a bit more durable. There's a bit that was cut from the LG launch where I rant about the E71 seeming a lot more sturdier by way of comparison to the LG. The Renoir felt like a model phone that you might find on the shelf in a P4U.
The LG Secret actually feels much nicer to hold and use.
really enjoy all your shows! hint hint.. i need one of those freebies!
They made me feel SO BAD for missing the show.. Happy to see the 'feature' was well-received
:)

I'm not sure if video calling is available in the US. Knowing the market as I do it'd probably be a carrier specific feature so you'd probably be better off asking your provider. One thing I can tell you is that you definitely need a 3G signal (something which has only been recently rolled out across the States), and again - you'd probably have to check with your carrier.
Ben called me on his N82, I picked up on my N95 8GB.
FYI
..and glad you liked the feature!
Are the feeds ok for anyone else?
