    Woo, I'm famous!

Dude playing with phone in background [8.18]
    Dude walking past camera [8.35]

    Yey.

I know who the mystery 'silhouette' is too, but I don't want to poopoo your feature.
  • Ewan · 1 year ago
Nice one Ross. Next time let's get you on camera!
  • Ross Savage · 1 year ago
I ran off to tell Simon where you were. After that you went *poof*. Next time maybe.

Can I also make a salute Dan's boots. Huge shiny nut crushers! Did they also have pockets? It looked like each one had it's own utility belt, like Batboots.

In a previous episode I'm fairly sure he pulled out a penknife to open some packaging. I could be mistaken, it might have been an actual Batarang ;)
  • DanLane · 1 year ago
Penknife?! psssshhht! it's not just a penknife, it's a Leatherman Charge TI.

I can imagine Ewan doing many things - but going 'POOF!' is not one of them!

    That was funny.

I have no idea who Mr. Pink Lanyard was other than some tall, thin-ish white dude...

    But the commando comments...

  • James Whatley · 1 year ago

Hey Ben - I was sitting, minding my own business, watching this episode of MIR video podcast on the train, when the chap sitting next to me gave me a poke and declared, "I know him - that's Ben Smith - he used to ork for us!"

I am truly amazed your fame and noteriety! I am sure that the world of 'Accident Prevention' will never be the same since you stopped working there!
  • Ben Smith · 1 year ago
:-) I have 'ork'-ed for a few people - not sure I recognise the cryptic description though! Did you get his name?

Infamy, infamy... they've all got it etc etc...

    Hello everyone,

First time post, please be gentle.

Is there a secret to watching this video, I have a vimeo account and still a no go after I login.

P.S. when are you lads coming to the US. I just started watching and it's an AWESOME show. Thanks
  • James Whatley · 1 year ago
We had to remove this video temporarily.

The others here: http://www.mirshow.com - should work fine.

    :)
  • Ben Smith · 1 year ago
Hi Peter, In addition to James' response, thanks for the kind words and welcome to MIR!

We'd love to get to the US, although no immediate plans for the whole team... *cough* funding *cough*

We are, however, at Future of Mobile in London soon (http://future-of-mobile.com/2008/london/) and MWC in Barcelona in Feb! Fancy a trip to Europe for a beer? :-)
  • jamesbody · 1 year ago
..and going to be at Swedish Beers' next Monday too?
  • Ben Smith · 1 year ago
    Yup - that too...

'Live on stage' apparently. Roll up, roll up... see the dancing Whatley show.
