Mobile Industry Review: I just bought an N95 8GB on T-Mobile

Can't speak for T-Mobile but, S60 foibles and blind spots aside, I reckon the N95 8GB is about the best workhorse around right now - made perfect by a copy of Profimail.

I think you're probably right, Mark...

Meh.. I'm still not sure if the 8Gb is better - I do like being able to take the memory card out and put it in the card reader. But still you won't be disappointed.

I know what you mean, Kip. It's not perfect but it's nothing that a USB cable (or even a bluetooth connection) doesn't solve. Just backup regularly!

what price plan are you on
i just clicked on on upgrade in my t-mobile (im on flext35)
and they wanted £80 to upgrade me to an N95 classic - which i already have - DOH!
£100 for a mda compact IV
    and £180 for an n95 8gb

I can't remember but I had to pay a bit for the handset!

ah ok - im still toying between an N96 or E71 as my next nokia
under the assumption that 5800 wont be here until xmas at the soonest
plus first gen S60 5th edition should probably be avoided.

then that samsung IMIT8 is tempting too.

    I'm going for E71... need a qwerty. N96 seems pretty much like a N95

yeah i was playing with one in the nokia store today. very very nice. the only nagging doubt is a) the camera b) will it handle video playback?

the n95 8gb is nice - but as the n96 is about to drop, i would hold out for that. sure its not much better, but its the latest and greatest. i dont give a fig about 3d - nokia arent using it for n-gage anyway. also i've yet to find an n-gage game i want to buy.
