  • It's been out in white in the UK since launch. I've had one. It's in the US where the white wasn't originally available.

  • white has been out just as long as black since launch day. my store got all white ones in as well as some other stores, and some got all black and no white.

its the US that just got the white version recently. I work in a T-Mobile retail store and booked in the G1's myself ready for launch :)
  • Yep, I had a white one from launch day. 'Had' being the operative word.

Much nicer looking handset cover, anyone got one of these? Does it work ok with Orange/Vodafone/O2 etc... SIMS?

I want to buy one of these but no confident that I can just drop my Orange SIM from my crappy Sony Ericsson in and get all the functionality, web, SMS, MMS etc.. working as it would out the box from T-Mobile.
  • went to buy a G1 dev phone, $171 shiiping from the States!!!!

So, in total its over £400 to get one! Think I'll just get a standard G1 from T-Mobile.
