E62 internet USB/bluetooth question

Got this in from reader, Matt.
I have an E62 which I’d like to have sync to our Groupwise system at work, which shouldn’t be a big deal as I already have Groupwise Mobile Server (which is based on Nokia IntelliSync).

    At the risk of being only slightly helpful, I did have a Nokia driver installed on my laptop a few years back that effectively did this for my E61 - sharing my laptop's data connection over sync cable. One of the big brains here will know what it's called...

    Alas it would appear that Fido (or as the case probably is, Rogers, given that they own Fido) requested that IP Passthrough be disabled - so it's not even possible.

    I have to say that I agree with their comments on the time it takes to open an SMS - it's one of the things that annoys me on a daily basis - I click on my Inbox and it takes 3 seconds to open Messaging - Inbox, then I click on a message and it takes 5 or 6 seconds to open the message.

    This is really making me think more seriously about upgrading to a newer device that's not been modified at the request of a provider.
