Could 5G be on its way in Korea?

A while back I wrote a piece of PR tripe which concluded that the only missing piece in mobile gaming is 4G.  There was, I wrote, no point in having really powerful phones that could run them if you had to pay a fortune to download them.

    WiMax is NOT 4G!

    HSPA will have 14.4MBps later on this year. We already have 7.2. 40-ish is next year.

    The ITU have yet to agree on what 4G is, let alone 5G.

    Re downloads, on HSPA 7.2 you can crack through a massive amount of background downloading, as Ben pointed out last week.

    WiMax is not 4G, Wimax is not 4G, WiMax is no.....
  • OMG - is it really illegal to use someone else's wireless point. I have been doing that for months for checking emails. Although I dont live in the UK so it might be different here.

    I always assume if it is open that people are providing a public service.
