They are aware of the complications that can arise from cheapening your product and brand. However they won't let the iPhone fall the way of the Razr because in about two months the market will swiftly get the new, improved, higher priced 3G iPhone. That's what the price cuts are clearing dusty shelves for.<br><br>Where the Razr fell was its company reducing price without fresh new product to replace its flagship. They left the brand to rot at the lower rung and evaded the higher priced buyer that bought it to begin with.
