  • If I say 'I was tempted' would people turn up on my door and start screeching at me 'invasion of the body snatchers' style?
  • No, I'd buy you a pint.

it is an excellent device. People just haven't realised that 'excellent' != 'all things to all people'.
  • It's a free country just don't even think about buying one, obviously, or Stefan and Ricky Cadden will personally lynch you :D
  • See - How am I supposed to know you replied?

I'm not sure I like this new system y'know. It has its good bits... but I don't think you shouted about the rss feed for comments before...

Plus I can't see from the front page what are the most recent comments that have been left...
I assume this is something you're gonna change?
  • There is a comments feed - over on the right of the Disqus community page, but it would be nicer to have more prominence here. Also there is a 'top posters' widget from Disqus so they just need swapping I guess.
  • I agree with ben on this point when things have been more integrated on here it will be better!
  • Your "mobile watcher" doesnt know Apple too well. They are aware of the complications that can arise from cheapening your product and brand. However they won't let the iPhone fall the way of the Razr because in about two months the market will swiftly get the new, improved, higher priced 3G iPhone. That's what the price cuts are clearing dusty shelves for.

Where the Razr fell was its company reducing price without fresh new product to replace its flagship. They left the brand to rot at the lower rung and evaded the higher priced buyer that bought it to begin with. Apple never did that with the iPod and I doubt it will happen with the iPhone.
