Mobile Industry Review: A Samsung running Apple’s Safari?

I believe it not. Somehow I feel someone at some point has mistaken WebKit for Safari. WebKit being the core of both Safari and the S60 browser (as seen in FP1 and FP2 devices). We'll have to see, since the official PR has absolutely no mention of this. Or whether or not the camera has autofocus.

The N95 identifies itself as Safari because it uses webkit.

Ok, now it's confirmed. It's not true. http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_l870_unveiled__... (see the bold paragraph at about the middle of the page).
Safari and the S60 Browser are two different things, mind. Yes they do use the same core. But they are developed separately beyond that point, by Apple and Nokia respectively.
